We are seeking a skilled Powerbuilder Developer to join our dynamic team within our enterprise Financial
Services organization. You will be tasked with supporting large-scale projects around our custom-built
applications that service our customers. Candidates with backgrounds around mission-critical
applications and tight SLAs will thrive in our environment. Financial Services experience is a huge plus.

 

Job Requirements:
● Proven experience (3+ years) in Powerbuilder development, with a strong understanding of its
principles and best practices.
● Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server).
● Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control systems.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
● Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies is a plus.
● Experience with Visual Studio, PowerShell, and Team Foundation Server preferred.

Duties: ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. ● Design, develop, and maintain Powerbuilder applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards, performance, and scalability. ● Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to interact with databases efficiently. ● Perform unit testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects. ● Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. ● Document software design, development, and maintenance processes for reference and knowledge sharing. ● Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users as needed.
